march 1st 2012

 Today in music class, i completed the assessment reflection booklet. i did 2 booklets, one for the baroque composers, and the other one for the finale program. i had to write about what i did, and what i can do to improve. In instrument class, the teacher taught us how to do and use the finale program, he made an example using the projector.

 Today in music class, mr john took a picture of me and amyra for the singing assessment. he took a picture of us because amyra was my partner in singing the hari merdeka song. then i had to be  my group and we had to choose the best 32 melody bar out of all of us. i also submitted my finale paper.
in instrument class, i started my left hand with the chords.

Today, the teachers explained to us about the 32 melody bar. he explained to us on how to do it, and all the chords we use. in instrument class, i tried and played my melody on the piano.

 Today, mr John checked our daily music reflections, we had to make it all complete, then he had to sign it. in instrument class, we're trying our 32 bar composition on the piano.

 Today, mr john gave us a paper (an assessment paper) then mr john taught us about the 32 bar composition. then in music instrument class, we finished our 32 bar song. i finished all of them in time, so is the rest of my piano classmates.

 This week, in theory class, we talked about chords and triads. mr john tested us, and asked us to say them out loud. in instrument class, we also learnt about the chords and triads. we created an 8 bar song, and we have to continue and do 8 more at home.

Today, mr john told u about or assessments, her gave us a paper, that has all the assessments. then, in instrument class, i did the scales : C, D, A AND E, on the piano. after that we learnt the flat scales and wrote them down.

Today, I learnt about the C major scale. we reviewed everything and then the teacher tests us to see if we remember or not. luckily i did. its quite east but i need ore practice. In instrument class, the teacher wrote down the scales on the board and we had to copy it down and finish it. its quite easy, but a bit hard to remember.

 On the 19th, we learnt about major scales and chords. We wrote them down in our music book. we had no instrument class today, because it was taken by the theory class.

 This week, we revised the things we talked about last week. we checked whether we had our resources or not. Then, Mr. John gave us the 'hari merdeka" paper. it had the lyrics to the song. we had to sing it 3 by 3! i didn't sing that loud, to be honest. I was quite shy at first but then hopefully i'll get used to it.
